Problem

Royalty statements come in dozens of inconsistent formats.

Built

• The whole product, solo: product and design, Next.js frontend and API routes, Supabase Postgres database and migrations, Clerk auth, Gemini-powered analysis and chat, Vercel deployment, and day-to-day live operations.
• A statement parser that uploads, normalizes and analyzes royalty statements across 37 formats.
• CI with Vitest unit tests and Playwright end-to-end tests gating every pull request.

Results

• 100% parsing accuracy across 37 statement formats, verified in CI on every change.

Sensational Concrete

The website for a local concrete contractor, which I designed, built and run end to end.

Built

• The whole site: design, Next.js frontend, a quote-request API that emails leads to the owner via Resend, Vercel deployment and analytics, and ongoing operations.
• Structured data and generative-engine optimization so AI assistants like ChatGPT can understand and cite the business. The owner reports leads from ChatGPT users.
• Lead-source tracking on the quote form ("How did you hear about us?" plus UTM capture).
• CI with lint, type checks, build, quote-form tests and an SEO check.

Viru Andean House

A pre-launch brand site and storefront for curated Andean textiles, jewelry and pantry goods, a partnership between Jose Castillo and Crystal Wallstrom.

Built

• A Next.js (App Router) site on Vercel that renders a pre-launch experience with a sign-up list while commerce stays off.
• Headless Shopify commerce, Resend email and a Sanity CMS, each switched on by its own environment variables.
• CI with lint, type checks, build and Playwright smoke tests on every pull request.

Juega Sapo

A browser version of sapo, the Peruvian coin-toss game, that I conceived and directed, working across product, design direction and engineering with AI tooling.

Built

• A 3D sapo box scene with swipe-to-throw.
• Solo play, plus pass-the-phone play for 2–4 players on one device, with no login.
• In progress: a real-physics skill throw with speed and angle meters, and online multiplayer through a shareable family link.

Results

• On a phone, the page went from 17.2 s to 2.9 s to look complete, with the main content appearing in 1.1 s.

Somx

Somx is a recordkeeping aid for anesthesia controlled-substance logs. I designed and built it as a clickable demo that runs on synthetic charts.

Demo only. It has never been used with real patient data and is not a certified compliance tool.

Problem

Anesthesia providers log controlled-substance doses and waste by hand on paper charts. At the end of the day, someone has to match those handwritten records against what was dispensed.

Built

• A chart reader that turns a chart image into draft log entries and marks how sure it is about each field. If it isn't sure, it leaves the field blank and highlights it in amber instead of guessing. The provider reviews and signs every entry before it counts.
• The demo at somxhealth.com covers chart review and sign-off, witnessed waste, end-of-day reconciliation with CSV and PDF export, a printable records view and an audit trail, all on synthetic charts.
• Automated checks run on every change: linting, unit tests for the ledger math and chart-reading rules, a production build and click-through tests.
